Devastating loss in mushroom in lamjung

With the start of summer and start of new year in Nepal. we students of Agriculture (Sundarbazar,Lamjung) again started the cultivation of the mushroom in summer season which in return had heavy loss in yield.
Sundarbazar lies in mid-hills of Nepal approx 800-900 masl. Here,the temperature ranges 30-35 degree Celsius in early summer season.To get read of this problem we used different practices.Such as covering the plastic tunnel with straw and jute sack and selection of tunnel (only used relatively cool tunnel than other tunnel present in this location).
This time we faced heavy infection of disease and pest in our farm.
Which reduced the quantity and quality of our products.

      the main reason for the losses are:
      1) due to higher temperature
      2) due to higher infestation of disease and pest

      FOR higher temperature:
      we should have constructed our tunnel in more cooler places and cover the tunnel with straw such that no any portion of black plastic is exposed to sun.

      FOR disease and pest:
      we should have early precaution of sterilization of the tunnel by using NUVAN,Formaldehyde..

    @sakar,spraying nuvan can be the best solution if you see some inscets and pest.spraying nuvan in ratio of 1ml to 1 lts can remove the insect and pest infestation.
